Llanfoist Village Hall – New Car Park Installation
The brief for the job was to make the hall accessible to all who use it.
We recently completed the construction of a new car park at Llanfoist Village Hall, with a clear brief to improve accessibility for all users of the facility.
The project began with the excavation of the existing car park to accommodate enhanced drainage. We then installed Bodpave™ 85 permeable paving, an environmentally friendly ground reinforcement system manufactured from 100% recycled materials. Its open-cell structure allows for efficient surface water infiltration, making it an ideal solution for sustainable drainage while maintaining a durable surface for vehicular use.
The finished car park includes clearly marked parking bays, incorporating a number of designated disabled spaces to ensure inclusive access. Additional works included the installation of tarmac pathways to improve pedestrian movement, along with full line marking throughout the site.
This project has delivered a practical, sustainable, and accessible parking solution for the local community.
